The Owner

Orena earned her high school diploma from Redford High School, Detroit MI, participating in various extracurricular activities such as the newspaper staff, office secretary, pep team called the Spirettes, and the “Strong Songs Teen Reporter” for four years with WJLB FM. 

Orena Perry has received academic certification from American Career Academy in Computerized Banking, Record-Keeping and Finance and Wayne State Job Training Partnership Act in Word-processing. She received a bachelor’s degree from Davenport University for Business Administration majoring in General Marketing, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in General Marketing. With her degrees she has been working with radio stations within the Midwest region, several nonprofit organizations and served on several advisory and community boards. 

Orena is a proud mother of five children and Queenie of two grandsons. Currently Orena is the Founder and Managing Member of The Acquisitionist Incorporated and JEADL Enterprises. Orena currently works with the Certification Review Committee with the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council, board member of Love That Works, Inc., associate member of the National Association of Black Journalist and a Deacon at Central Baptist Church.

About JEADL

Orena Perry is the owner and operator of JEADL Enterprises, a Limited Liability Company and certified woman-owned business that provides customized experiences through event planning services for individuals, nonprofit agencies, and corporations throughout the Metro Detroit community. There are currently no outside investors; however, funding opportunities may arise as the business grows.

JEADL Enterprises began in 2016, but Orena incorporates her entrepreneurial integrity developed through over 15 years of event execution and seven years of hospitality experience within the entertainment industry. Her previous success and challenges as a business owner have prepared her to provide innovative events. She is also knowledgeable about pivoting toward business models conducive to short-term survival and long-term resilience and growth. Her longevity in the industry is a testament to her commitment to building a family business. Orena’s children will be well equipped to own and operate the business because they all work alongside her now. Each of her children’s initials form the name of JEADL: J for Joyce, E for Elijah, A for Anthony, D for Dezare’, and L for Lila

JEADL Enterprises offers individual event planning and management for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other parties. Services also extended to companies and businesses for work sessions, retreats, team meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.  JEADL Enterprises turns any moment into a great memory by connecting with the consumer’s expectations down to the smallest detail. So, whether the team devises a driven idea, or the consumer provides every spark of inspiration, JEADL can meet community needs, client satisfaction, and public appeal.
